Job summary

Family of Kidz in Hawthorne, NY seeks a Speech Therapist Clinical Fellow (CFY) for full-time work Monday–Friday. You will design and deliver individual and group speech-language therapies, administer evaluations, and coordinate with BCBA and Special Educators to support language goals.

The role involves AAC device oversight, data collection for IEPs, and collaboration with families and school districts. Licensure in NY and NYSED TSSLD certification are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in NY.
• CFY applicants must possess NYSED TSSLD certification.
• Experience with autism preferred.
• Experience programming AAC devices.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
• Administer and create speech and language evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with BCBA and Special Educators regarding language and functional communication.
• Oversee student’s AAC devices and usage.
• Apply behavior management strategies during sessions.
• Maintain professional relationships with families and schools and document attendance and billing.
• Create and maintain schedules and collect data on IEP goals.
