Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

What you will do: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
  • Perform discharge evaluations, make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
  • Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, the patient, and family members
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
  • Current CPR Certification as per state regulations
  • At least one year's experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injuries is preferred
  • Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; moving, lifting, or transferring patients may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
  • Physical requirements include fine motor skills, visual acuity, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Additional physical demands include pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, kneeling, and repositioning as needed
