Job summary

St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging for pediatric patients, including abdominal, small parts, obstetric, and vascular studies. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness and accurate documentation.

The position offers 10-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), four days per week, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants and no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Sonographer credentials required.
• Experience performing abdominal, small parts and obstetric imaging.
• Pediatric imaging experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Role PurposeThe Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
