Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Social Work Clinical Manager to lead a team of about 30 clinical social workers across inpatient and outpatient pediatric units. The role includes coaching, policy development, and program oversight, with a focus on staff development and regulatory compliance.

The position requires an MSW and LISW-S in Ohio, with 3+ years of experience and a strong preference for leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• MSW required.
• LISW-S licensed in Ohio required.
• 3 years experience minimum; 5-8 years preferred; leadership/management experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor ~30 social workers in inpatient and outpatient pediatric units. Develop goals, policies, and educational programs. Mentor and support the team.
• Manage daily operations, resolve issues, oversee staffing, and orient new employees.
• Drive talent management: hiring, retention, onboarding, performance management, and development in collaboration with HR and leadership.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards; improve staff performance and compliance.
• Lead projects from start to finish, aligning with organizational priorities.
