Lowcountry Therapy Center in Bluffton, SC seeks a full-time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our outpatient clinic. The role includes collaborative plan-of-care development with a supervisor, implementing therapy, and AAC system training for children with diverse communication needs.

We offer a 12-week mentorship program for new graduates, competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, benefits, and a supportive team environment. Travel to local settings may be required.

Formación

• 100 Clinical Clock Hours required to practice in the state of South Carolina as an SLPA.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participation (with Supervisor) in creating an individualized Plan of Care for each patient.
• Implements treatment to correct disorders of speech, language, voice, oral-pharyngeal function, and cognitive/communication skills; develops and dispenses AAC systems.
• Consultation provides services to patient, family, and caregivers; hearing screening limited to pass/fail and related evaluations.
• Re-evaluation to assess efficacy and adjust plans as needed.
• Documentation—maintains all patient records including evaluation, plan of care, daily progress notes and discharge notes.
