Job summary

POP Pediatric Center is hiring a Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team serving children from birth to 21.

As part of a neurodiversity-affirming, therapist-owned clinic, you will provide individualized treatment, collaborate with other professionals, and support families using AAC and Gestalt Language Processing. This full-time role offers supervision, ongoing training, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric patients and Early Intervention preferred.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' areas for growth and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Support the patient's speech and language development using total communication strategies including AAC.
• Demonstrate understanding and use of Gestalt Language Processing framework.
• Educate patients and families to ensure carryover of treatment ideas within the natural environment.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
