Job summary

KidsWatch Pediatrics is expanding to offer speech-language evaluations and therapy for pediatrics. We seek an experienced pediatric speech-language pathologist to launch and grow this new service line.

The position will initially be one fixed weekday block or two half-day blocks, with hours potentially increasing as caseload grows. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating articulation, language, fluency, and social-communication concerns, developing goals, and coordinating with other

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Virginia speech-language pathology license.
• Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
• Current CCC-SLP certification.
• At least two years of pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Willingness to complete payer credentialing and enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric speech and language evaluations.
• Provide treatment for articulation, language, fluency, and social-communication concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Complete evaluations and required documentation promptly.
• Provide education and home-practice recommendations to parents.
• Coordinate care with pediatricians and other providers as authorized.
• Follow payer authorization, visit limits, and documentation requirements.
• Assist with developing clinical workflows and resources for the new program.
• Provide feeding/swallowing services only when trained and indicated.
