Qualifications

  • Nebraska state licensure as an SLP required; ASHA CCC preferred or CFY considered.
  • Experience with pediatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs speech and feeding assessments/reassessments per department policy.
  • Analyzes information to plan and report diagnostic findings and plan of care.
  • Develops goals and plans of care with frequency and type of intervention.
  • Collaborates with caregivers and other healthcare providers to set realistic goals.
  • Documents patient status, plan of care, interventions and progress clearly for billing and records.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes to new programs and processes.
