Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide clinical assessment and therapy across Hudson Valley, NY. The role supports students with communication disorders and may be part-time, fee-for-service, or full-time depending on caseload and needs.

Licensed SLP with NYSED TSSLD/TSHH is required or strongly preferred; bilingual skills are a plus. Join a dedicated team focused on child development and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• NYSED Certification: TSSLD or TSHH preferred.
• Experience with autism preferred.
• Experience programming AAC devices beneficial.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group speech therapy interventions.
• Administer and interpret speech and language evaluations.
• Collaborate with BCBA and Special Educators on language goals.
• Oversee use of AAC devices in sessions.
• Apply behavior management strategies during sessions.
• Maintain professionalism with families and districts.
• Keep accurate attendance and billing records.
• Create and maintain therapist schedule.
• Collect data on IEP goals and quarterly progress.
• Attend initial CSE meetings or annual reviews.
