Job summary

Tri-County Healthcare in Texas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric feeding and swallowing for in-home care. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team focused on delivering high-quality therapy in patients' homes.

You will evaluate, treat, and educate families, develop individualized plans of care, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to improve communication, cognition, and feeding skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas state license as a speech-language pathologist.
• CCC-SLP credential from ASHA; CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech-language pathology services per patient plan of care.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments of communication, cognition and swallowing.
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on progress.
• Deliver therapy to improve speech, language and swallowing skills.
• Educate families and caregivers on home programs and safety strategies.
• Document evaluations, progress, and services accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and care teams.
• Supervise SLPAs as required by regulations and standards.
• Participate in continuing education and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate children with feeding, swallowing, and oral-motor difficulties.
