Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Nassau, NY is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Evaluator to join our pediatric therapy team. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to provide evaluations in homes, clinics, and community settings across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

You will collaborate with dedicated supervisors and administrative staff, deliver therapy services to children birth through 21, and educate families on intervention strategies to support carry-over at home.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience providing pediatric evaluations and therapy.
• Ability to travel to client homes and community sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in a natural setting.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics and community sites.
• Follow the therapy plan, plan ongoing treatment, and document progress.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain confidential records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
