Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Nassau, NY is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Evaluator to join a team delivering pediatric evaluations in homes, clinics, and community settings. You will work a flexible schedule to meet families’ needs while supporting children’s goals.

Applicants must be a NYS Licensed SLP with a passion for working with children; bilingual ability is a plus. Per-evaluation pay ranges widely with experience, and benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children and families.
• Must be a NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
• Self-motivated, team player with patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth-21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow and document ongoing therapy plans and goals.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain records with confidentiality.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and submit required documentation on time.
