Job summary

The Pediatric Place in Clinton, MO is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a collaborative pediatric therapy team. You will evaluate and treat children with a wide range of communication needs, providing evidence-based care in a supportive, family-centered environment.

Join a multidisciplinary clinic offering speech, occupational and physical therapy, ABA, and other services. The role emphasizes growth, mentorship, and ongoing professional development in a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Passion for working with pediatric patients and families
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care
• Experience with pediatric speech and language disorders preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Address articulation, phonology, apraxia, and fluency disorders
• Support children with language and communication challenges
• Conduct AAC evaluations and assist with AAC programming when applicable
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, counselors, ABA professionals, and dietitians
• Educate and support families throughout the therapy process
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Create engaging and developmentally appropriate therapy sessions
