Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year in a school-based setting near Rainier, OR. The role offers a hybrid schedule with on-site and remote administrative responsibilities and a focus on pediatric speech-language pathology.

You will conduct evaluations, deliver therapy with educators and families, and supervise an SLPA across 1–2 sites, with IEPs and documentation management included within paid prep time.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Oregon SLP license or eligibility before start.
• Experience in pediatric or school settings; familiarity with IEPs and remote admin tasks.
• On-site presence at least four days per week.
• Fingerprinting and background check completed prior to start.
• Strong communication and supervision of staff.
• CFY candidates are not eligible due to supervision requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee and supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on-site
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), documentation, and indirect services during paid preparation and meeting time
• Carry out administrative duties off-site one day each week

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Current Oregon State SLP License or eligibility to secure one before the start date
• Experience within pediatric and/or school-based settings; proficiency with IEPs and remote administrative work
• Ability to be present on-site at least four days a week
• Completion of required fingerprinting and background check before starting
• Strong communication skills and comfort supervising support personnel
• CFY candidates are not eligible due to supervision requirements
