Job summary

ProCare Therapy in New York is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role in a dynamic school setting. You will evaluate students, support IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy including teletherapy to a pediatric caseload.

The position requires a Master's in SLP, active licensure, and strong collaboration with district teams. CFY candidates may be considered; a supportive environment and comprehensive benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active state licensure required.
• CCC-Certification preferred (CFY candidates considered).
• Experience working with pediatric populations in schools.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and practice.
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
• Collaborate with educators to develop, monitor, and update IEPs.
• Provide direct therapy sessions, including virtual/teletherapy modalities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate notes, progress reports, and documentation.
• Support students with a range of speech and language needs, adapting interventions as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.
