Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist for school-based settings across Long Island and NYC. The role focuses on delivering PT services in schools, evaluating progress, and coordinating with families, educators, and other professionals to support each child’s goals.

Responsibilities include implementing IEP-mandated PT services, maintaining detailed progress notes, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PT license in the applicable state(s).
• Must have a degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver PT services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other professionals to support goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
• Assist with functional mobility and orientation safety directives and exercises.
