BlazerWorks is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct health support for elementary-age students with complex medical needs in a school setting. This interim, full-time role involves assisting students at the 5th-grade level and participating in bus transportation duties to ensure safe, reliable care throughout the day.

Qualifications

Active CNA or LNA license required.
Experience supporting students at the 5th-grade level with 2:1 care.
Comfort providing care to pediatric populations with complex medical needs.
Able to participate in bus transportation duties.
Strong collaboration with educators, therapists, and families.
Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding student information.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct health support and personal care to assigned students during the school day.
Monitor, document, and report any changes in student health status.
Assist with safe and efficient transportation to and from school, including medical oversight as needed.
Collaborate with nursing staff, school personnel, and families to maintain a safe learning environment.
Support students’ health plans in line with physician and school guidelines.
Maintain accurate health records and communication among care teams.
