The University of Miami's Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology seeks a full-time Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to lead the expanding early phase pediatric trial program as Director of the Pediatric Phase I Program.

The position involves providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients, teaching residents and fellows, and conducting basic and translational research within a prominent cancer center environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO at the assistant/associate professor level.
• Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
• Maintain a valid Medical License in the State of Florida.
• Valid DEA license.
• Clinical and scholarly expertise in pediatric hematology-oncology.
• Proven teaching abilities for students and housestaff.

Responsabilités

• Direct the Pediatric Phase I Program and lead early-phase clinical trial efforts for children and adolescents.
• Provide comprehensive pediatric hematology-oncology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Share on-call duties with division members.
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Conduct basic, translational, and clinical research and contribute to publications and grants.
• Participate in the division and university service mission and community outreach.
