Nexus Health Systems, located in The Woodlands, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome and complex behavioral conditions. Qualified candidates will have a current RN license in Texas, BLS certification, and preferably experience in pediatric or behavioral health settings. The position offers 12-hour shifts with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Nexus Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands provides specialized inpatient care for children and adolescents diagnosed with Prader‑Willi Syndrome (PWS). PWS is a genetic disorder that can affect appetite regulation, behavior, emotional control, and developmental functioning, requiring a highly structured and closely supervised treatment environment.
Our program focuses on behavioral management, medical stability, and skill development in a supportive inpatient setting. Our interdisciplinary team works closely with patients and their families to promote safety, independence, and improved quality of life through individualized treatment plans and evidence‑based care.
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to pediatric patients with Prader‑Willi Syndrome and other complex medical and behavioral conditions. The RN works as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care while maintaining the structured environment required for this patient population.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and comfort working with patients who may have developmental, behavioral, and medical complexities.
