Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide pediatric private duty nursing in home settings. You will follow patient care plans, document care using a tablet, and collaborate with families and clinicians to achieve excellent outcomes.

Flexible scheduling includes full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts, with days, nights, and weekend options. Must have active RN license, CPR, reliable transportation, and be able to travel to Harker Heights and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification with hands-on component required.
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation to client homes is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver private duty nursing care per patient care plan.
• Document care using Aveanna tablet and electronic charting.
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and support teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety, report changes, and follow protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component) - Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
