Job summary

Independence Health System Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for direct and indirect patient care in an outpatient/physician practice setting. The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients and families under physician direction.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and current PA RN licensure with BLS; BSN is preferred. Travel between system locations may be required in some shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program is required.
• Strong leadership ability, organizational skills, independent and critical thinking, sound judgment.
• Excellent communication of complex topics to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care per policies and standards.
• Collect health data including vital signs, weight, chief complaint, and pain.
• Complete initial health assessment and annual reassessment; involve patient/family.
