Job summary

Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7 East Medical Care Unit, a 50-bed pediatric unit specializing in diabetes, metabolic and GI, pulmonary illnesses, and other pediatric conditions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient- and family-centered care, and professional growth within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. RN license in DC/MD/VA, CPR certification, and 1 year of RN experience are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia depending upon location of practice (Required)
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (Required)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Required)
• Maintain regulatory requirements (license, BLS) and participate in mandatory education and professional activities

Responsibilities

• Independently maintain regulatory requirements e.g. license, BLS.
• Plan for attendance at mandatory education and professional activities to enhance nursing practice.
• Demonstrate professional review of peers through timely participation in evaluations.
