Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for pediatric patients in Anchorage. The position offers day shifts (Monday–Friday) with competitive pay and weekly paychecks.

As a nurse, you will apply the nursing process, administer medications, and contribute to care planning and discharge planning. An active RN license in the state, current PPD or Chest X‑Ray, and BLS are required; one year of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient status changes.
• Performs therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and documents updates.
• Administers medications and assesses intervention effectiveness.
• Reviews plans of care and coordinates education, discharge planning.
