Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking compassionate registered nurses (RN) and licensed practical nurses (LPN) for private-duty home health in Texas. You will deliver high-quality patient-centered care in patients' homes, coordinate with families and clinicians, and document care electronically.

Flexible scheduling options include full-time, part-time or PRN with day, night, and weekend shifts. Must hold an active RN license in Texas or compact license transfer within 90 days; CPR and TB test required.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health nursing care in patients' homes.
• Coordinate with patients, families, and clinicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Document care activities using an electronic documentation system.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
