Job summary

Mercy Clinic Pediatrics in St. Louis, MO is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our pediatric practice on a part-time, 24-hour weekly schedule.

You will provide professional nursing care, coordinate patient activities, and work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care for children and families. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, care coordination, documentation in the EHR, and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Escort pediatric patients to examination rooms and obtain medical histories, chief complaints, and vital signs.
• Assess patient conditions and prepare patients for physician examinations.
• Administer medications, including intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections.
• Perform IV therapy and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
• Respond appropriately to urgent or emergent situations within the clinic setting.
• Answer patient and parent phone calls, triage concerns, and collaborate with providers.
