Job summary

EmVenio Research, Inc is seeking a Certified Mobile Research Nurse (per diem/PRN) to perform pediatric visits in the field. The RN will set appointments within required windows and conduct mobile visits for study participants, coordinating with Clinical Project Managers and site staff.

The role includes blood draws from ages 1 month to 18 years, full physical exams including neurological assessments via video, ECG, review of medications, IP dosing, seizure diary review, and meticulous source

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice.
• Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting
• Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
• Must have and maintain a current TB Test
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance, in accordance with state and/or agency requirements
• Ability to speak other languages

Responsibilities

• Set appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants.
• Perform pediatric blood draws for ages 1 month to 18 years during mobile visits.
• Conduct full physical exams including physical and neurological assessment (video conference with site during procedure).
• Perform 12-lead ECG and review concomitant medications, adverse events.
• Confirm IP dosing and IP accountability and return of used IP.
• Daily seizure diary review for completion.

The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN position for EmVenio. An EmVenio CMRN is responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You’ll work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

We are looking for a Pediatric Nurse who can perform the following skills during a mobile visit:

• blood draws on ages 1 month to 18 years of age
• Visits are to be completed during standard business hours based on sites location
• Full Physical Exam (inclusive of Physical/Neurological Assessment; Video conference to occur with the site during this procedure)
• 12-lead safety ECG and concomitant medications review, adverse events review
• Confirmation of IP dosing, IP accountability and used IP return
• Daily seizure diary review for completion

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)
• One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests
• Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice
