Qualifications

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Rheumatology required.
  • Commitment to pediatric clinical excellence, education, and collaborative practice expected.
  • Interest in clinical research encouraged.
  • Interest in teaching through CHOC Children’s Hospital’s pediatric residency training program welcomed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the full range of pediatric rheumatology services.
  • Participate in a shared call arrangement with the division’s three current board-certified physicians.
  • Engage in teaching within CHOC Children’s Hospital’s pediatric residency training program.
  • Pursue or support clinical research opportunities leveraging the UC Irvine School of Medicine affiliation.
  • Contribute to CHOC’s broader mission of clinical excellence, education, research, advocacy, outreach, and leadership development.
