Job summary

St. Louis Children's Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for part-time night shifts.

You will work a pair of 12-hour shifts weekly on the Respiratory Care Team, providing direct patient care to pediatric patients and supporting critical care needs with advanced respiratory therapies. The role requires an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, BCLS, RRT credentials, and preferred Bachelor’s degree, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Assoc or CoARC accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support and RRT certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per standards and guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and document care effectively.
• Utilize knowledge to troubleshoot clinically and support care activities.
• Apply advanced respiratory care skills as needed for patient safety.
