Job summary

Sutter Medical Group is seeking a dynamic Program Director for our Pediatric Residency Program in Sacramento, California. This 1.0 FTE leadership role includes 0.5 FTE protected time for program oversight and 0.5 FTE in clinical practice.

You will direct all operations, ensure ABP/ACGME compliance, lead resident recruitment and education, mentor faculty, and oversee training across ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Documented educational and administrative experience acceptable to the ACGME Pediatrics Review Committee.
• Active involvement in clinical care of patients.
• Knowledge of health care delivery and administration.
• Ability to lead with a team approach and coordinate across departments.
• Persuasive and diplomatic in encouraging teamwork and service excellence.
• Effective communication and sound judgment.
• Strong interpersonal skills across diverse groups.
