Job summary

Michigan State University’s Pediatric Public Health Initiative seeks a full-time Research Technologist 2 to support data collection in a randomized trial of PlayReadVIP, an early parenting program in pediatric primary care in Flint, MI.

You will track participants, administer developmental assessments for ages 9 months to 3 years, conduct parent interviews, enter data into REDCap, and help with scheduling and research records; occasional recruitment and consent may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge normally acquired by completing a four-year college degree in Pediatric Public Health or related field and related research experience.
• Experience with data entry, questionnaire administration, and use of data management software.

Responsibilities

• 25% Conduct questionnaire/interviews with study parents via telephone and enter data into REDCap.
• 30% Administer in-person study assessments for infants and toddlers and record data.
• 30% Coordinate, track, and schedule upcoming study visits with participants.
• 5% Perform data cleaning procedures.
• 5% Participate in ongoing training for study implementation.
• 5% Other duties as assigned.
