Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital is seeking a PRN Pediatric Rehab Technician to support our Outpatient Rehab Team at the North Rehab Clinic near the Jacksonville International Airport. The role involves assisting physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, transporting patients and providing direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of outpatient rehab

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 1+ year outpatient rehab technician experience preferred.
• Experience assisting PT/OT/ST and transporting patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care.
• Transporting patient to/from treatments.
• Assisting PT/OT/ST with patient treatments.
• Clerical duties and maintenance.
• Cleaning and sanitation of work area.
