Qualifications

• Current, active Texas RN license is mandatory.
• BLS CPR card must be obtained in-person, not online.
• Experience with G-tubes, trachs, and vents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as per physician orders.
• Provide physician-ordered treatments including nutrition via feeding tubes and tracheostomy care.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurses (RNs)

• Medication administration per physician orders
• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioning nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs)

• Current, active Texas RN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
