Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the healthcare needs of patients and formulates nursing diagnoses based on assessment data.
• Develops and follows a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Identifies expected outcomes for the plan of care individualized to the child, family, and situation.
• Implements and coordinates the delivery of care while promoting health and a safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward the attainment of outcomes.
• Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
