Dakota Dental 4 Kids in Rapid City, SD is seeking a compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to provide preventive care and support the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care.

The RDH will perform cleanings, radiographs, periodontal assessments, educate families on oral health, and help maintain records while upholding infection control standards. Previous pediatric dentistry experience is advantageous, and a team-focused, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Current RDH license in good standing.
• Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and preventive hygiene.
• Take and review radiographs per state rules.
• Educate patients on oral health and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Ensure infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist dentists as needed.
