Job summary

Dallas Kids Smiles Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a brand-new pediatric practice. You will support the dentist chairside, prep treatment rooms, educate families, and help create a calm, child-friendly environment for high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will be Texas-licensed as an RDA, hold CPR certification, and value teamwork and patient comfort. Experience with nitrous, coronal polishing, and sealants is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RDA license in Texas required.
• CPR certification current.
• One year dental assisting experience preferred.
• Pediatric dental experience preferred but not required.
• Nitrous monitoring and coronal polishing/sealant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories and treatment rooms before patient arrival.
• Seat patients and ensure comfort for treatment.
• Assist the doctor chairside during pediatric procedures.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Take and document treatment notes and maintain records.
• Assist with restorative treatments, extractions, crowns, sealants, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with front office for a seamless patient experience.
