Job summary

Choice-Healthcare-Services in California is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, passing instruments, taking x-rays, performing prophy, and assisting during procedures with pediatric dentists, orthodontists, and anesthesiologists. The position requires a California Registered Dental Assistant License and X-Ray Certification; Coronal Polish and BLS certifications are also noted.

Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience and/or training.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophy teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's.
• Charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Education

Certification from dental college OR 3+ months related experience
