Job summary

Shriners Children's in Spokane is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for pediatric patients and support high-quality radiographs while upholding radiation safety standards.

You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams, ensure accurate patient positioning, age-appropriate communication, and proper documentation in EMR and PACS. Prior ARRT and BLS certification are required, with a preference for related radiologic technology degrees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiologic Science from an accredited JCERT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures including portable C-arm, Tomography, and DXA scans.
• Ensure diagnostic image quality and proper radiation protection measures.
• Assist with patient preparation and age-appropriate communication.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Radiologists to review images and clarify orders.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment following safety and maintenance guidelines.
• Document procedures and patient data in EMR and PACS systems.
