Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• ARRT R certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire or eligibility.
• Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) - Arkansas Department of Health required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates increasing knowledge of correct & acceptable radiographic techniques & positioning, operating all equipment and setting up room for ordered exams.
• Learning to screen patients for pregnancy, contrast needs and contraindications, and using contrast forms for exams.
• Utilizes designated communication devices and responds appropriately.
• Demonstrates increasing knowledge of emergency equipment/supplies.
• Raises concerns about patient care, safety or satisfaction to supervisor promptly.
• Ensures work area is properly maintained.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
