Job summary

The Shriners Hospitals for Children is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform pediatric diagnostic imaging, primarily X-rays, ensuring compassionate care and adherence to radiation safety. The role requires completing an accredited Radiology program, ARRT certification, BLS, a current State license, and dedication to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a child-friendly healthcare setting.

The position schedules Tue/Thu 10:30am-6:00pm and Wed/Fri 9:00am-4:30pm, supporting radiologists and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
ARRT certification required.
Current State Radiology License.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting.
Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction.
Position patients correctly to produce quality radiographic images.
Work with radiologists and physicians who interpret images.
Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work-related events.
Maintains ongoing plan for personal growth and self-development.
