Qualifications

• Completion of certification program from a school of Radiologic Technology.
• Associate’s Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in radiology or associated field of study required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs outpatient and/or inpatient radiographic procedures with stationary/mobile equipment.
• Ensure patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Verify patient identity and exam requisitions for accurate imaging.
• Apply radiation protection principles based on patient age and condition.
• Train and orient new staff and radiography students.
