Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams with emphasis on patient comfort and safety. The role involves collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and staff to ensure high-quality images and timely exams in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The position supports pediatric clinics and InstaCare, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible candidates and a standard 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification is required
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• May be required to complete the MA Competency Checklist in a clinic/InstaCare setting

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency and ensure patient safety and quality imaging
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and identify patients
• Perform exams per protocol and review image quality
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Assist and instruct students and other Radiology staff in protocols and equipment
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Follow infection control and keep records of procedures and adverse reactions
