Job summary

CHOC Children's seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the Radiology department at the Orange campus. The role is full-time, daytime shift, under supervision by an LVN Supervisor/RN Charge Nurse. Must have an LVN license in California and BLS; PALS preferred, bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Minimum one year of pediatric care experience is required. Graduate of an accredited LVN program; ability to lift equipment and assist with patient mobility is expected.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
• Knowledge to provide appropriate patient care by age and cultural needs.
• Ability to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote CHOC's mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within LVN scope under supervision.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Document care plans and adapt to pediatric radiology needs.
