ChristianaCare seeks a Pediatric Radiologist to join our team as we expand pediatric services in partnership with our Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia affiliation.

The role provides subspecialty diagnostic imaging for pediatric inpatients, emergencies, and outpatients. Responsibilities include teaching, conferences, and collaboration within the Pediatric Service Line to advance safety and quality.

Formación

• MD or DO required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology required.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Delaware and PA.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret pediatric imaging studies across radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI and other modalities.
• Perform and supervise pediatric fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., VCUG, upper GI).
• Provide timely, accurate interpretations with pediatric-focused pathology and ALARA.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend coverage as assigned.
• Communicate critical results to ordering clinicians per policy.
• Collaborate with technologists, nursing, ED, pediatrics and surgery to optimize workflows.
• Support pediatric imaging protocol development and standardization.
• Participate in quality improvement, peer learning and patient safety initiatives.
• Assist with escalation paths and fallback coverage during disruptions.
• Teach and mentor radiology residents, fellows, medical students, and allied staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary pediatric conferences and tumor boards.
