The Department of Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan seeks a visionary leader to advance our clinical, educational, and research missions within pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine. You will guide an established team and collaborate across inpatient and outpatient services.

This role emphasizes mentorship of junior faculty and trainees, strategic growth of the CF Center, and strong partnerships with CMU College of Medicine to propel translational research and academic excellence.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Board Certification in Pediatric Pulmonology is required.
• Board Certification in Sleep Medicine is preferred but not required.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted state medical license in Michigan.
• Academic credentialsqualifying for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor.
• Proven leadership in a multidisciplinary academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide administrative oversight, financial management, and strategic direction for the division and its specialized clinics.
• Clinical Excellence: Maintain and expand inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonary and sleep services.
• Academic Development: Mentor and support the professional growth of junior faculty, advanced practice providers, residents, and medical students under the academic framework of CMU College of Medicine.
• Research Innovation: Foster clinical and translational research initiatives.
