Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children’s Medical Center in Central Texas seeks a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our pediatric pulmonology team. The role emphasizes outpatient care with some inpatient rounding and a pediatric sleep program.

The position offers opportunities to lecture, participate in grand rounds, conduct research and engage in quality improvement projects, with collaboration alongside residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine required.
• Texas medical license required.
• Board certification or active pursuit of board certification in pediatric pulmonology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mainly outpatient focused with some inpatient rounding.
• Light call volume.
• Opportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical students.
• Pediatric sleep program and sleep lab in place.
• Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects.

Education

Doctorate Degree in Medicine

Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas

Board-certified or actively pursuing certification (ABMS/Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists)
