Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with RN license in Texas.
- Current APRN-NP licensure and acute care pediatric certification.
- Current PA license and NCCPA certification for dual-candidate roles.
- Experience with children with chronic illness desirable.
- Basic life support and pediatric advanced life support certifications.
Responsibilities
- Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations.
- Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic procedures as appropriate.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
- Maintain documentation in patient charts and orders.
- Coordinate care with physicians, patients, and families.
- Conduct in-patient and out-patient consultations and follow-ups.
