Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital seeks a part-time physical therapist to perform evaluations, implement treatment plans, and document care. 2 years of PT experience required with licensure in Arkansas. Certifications in scliosis, orthopedics and pediatric PT are highly valued.

You will teach, mentor interns, and contribute to department programs while maintaining high-quality patient care in a busy pediatric setting. This role offers flexible scheduling and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy required.
• Arkansas Physical Therapy license required.
• 2 years of related field experience required.
• 3D Scoliosis Treatment certification a plus.
• Board certifications in orthopedic, sports, wound, brain injury or pediatric PT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews information from chart, team report, patient evaluations, etc. prior to initiating physical therapy treatment.
• Completes a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and develops a plan of care with measurable goals.
• Documents findings and recommendations per policies; supports EMR templates and billing.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of growth, development, and age-appropriate treatment.
• Precepts/mentors team members and interns; participates in program development.
