The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks a Pediatric Psychologist within the Department of Pediatrics to contribute to child development and rehabilitation services for children with neurodevelopmental conditions.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in psychology with subspecialty training in health psychology.
• Eligibility for clinical licensure in Illinois.
• Evidence of academic productivity (training, publications, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational and developmental testing as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Develop treatment plans for infants and children with neurodevelopmental disabilities with an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform developmental testing for at-risk infants and toddlers.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Write comprehensive assessment reports.
• Provide behavioral interventions and address behaviors associated with neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Contribute to teaching medical students and residents in pediatrics.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
