Job summary

Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Psychiatry Child Partial Hospitalization Program, providing direct care to adolescents aged 12–18 in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

Current NYS RN license required.
At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience required.
Experience with adolescent patients preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and medication providers.
Conduct intakes and infirmary care.
Facilitate therapeutic groups tailored to patient needs.
Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
Address medical concerns, safety issues, and psychosocial needs.
Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse and preceptor.
Contribute to unit activities and enhance the care delivery system.
