Qualifications

• Georgia LPN or RN license and valid certification.
• Minimum of one year pediatric home-care nursing experience.
• Experience with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in the home setting.
• Manage and maintain medical equipment including feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and seizure logs.
• Administer medications, respiratory treatments, and other prescribed therapies.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status.
• Document care provided and communicate with healthcare team members.
• Educate and support families in caring for children with complex medical needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and professional nursing standards.

Nurse Skill Level: High-Level Skilled Nursing

Clients with complex medical conditions requiring continuous skilled nursing care. Includes Low and Mid Level with the addition of the following: Cerebral PalsyAcute Repiratory Failure with hypoxia and hypercapnia,OSA,Chronic restrivitive lung diease,Rhinovirus,Chronic Siaiorrhea, Feeding pump, G-j Tube, CPAP

Compensation:

$30 - $33 per hour

$45 - $47 per hour

Qualifications:

Completion of a nursing skills test with an 80% or above.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Georgia nursing license.
• Minimum of one year of pediatric nursing experience (home care experience preferred).
• Experience caring for medically complex clients with feeding tubes, seizure disorders, tracheostomies, and ventilators.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
